    Blessings on your Furbabies

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) comes from the Japanese Rei and Ki meaning spiritually guided life energy. Reiki for pets is a form of spiritual healing that helps harmonize the mind, body and soul of your pet. It can be used as a treatment for relaxation as well as a tool for releasing negative emotions and limitations. Reiki is not a religion.

Reiki for animals can treat ailments that may be currently inhibiting your pet whether you notice it or not. It can reduce stress, relieve pain, headaches, stomach upsets, asthma, back problems, sinus, respiratory, canine hip dysplasia, anxiety and more. It can help with abused animals, neglected animals. After performing Reiki with your first session you will see results.

Reiki is ideal for animals because it is gentle and non invasive. It doesn’t cause stress, discomfort or pain yet yields powerful results. For healthy animals, Reiki maintains health, provides peace and contentment.

For dying animals, Reiki is a gentle way to provide comfort to your pet and keep them from being afraid and anxious.

Animals respond faster than people and positive results are often seen in a shorter period of time.

Because Reiki is a healing energy, it will never harm you or your pet.
  • In Person Treatments

Animals are more comfortable in their own surroundings and home. Treatments can be given a few feet away or even from across a room.
  • Distant Healing Treatments:

Is very effective and can be even preferable. Some animals may live too far away or fearful of strangers, elderly or close to death. But they absorb Reiki distantly. Distant treatments are cost effective for the working owner and quicker to schedule. Distant Reiki offers same benefits as hands on. Distant Reiki treatment can provide relief from surgery, emotional healing, behavioral issues and ease transition to death. After a distant treatment results can be seen soon. Depending on situation, pet may need more than one treatment.

A Healthy Dog is a Happy Dog!

For the past 2 days at 5am, Sammy Diva has been waking up extremely happy. We can hear her make these AH!, AH!, AH! sounds which means that she is on her back with her legs stretching up into the air. How happy happy she must be.  Seeing her do this one, two sometimes three times a day makes us laugh. Its wonderful to see how good Sammy Diva must be feeling.  She must be pain free. This is actually the happiest I have ever seen her since I had her. And she is 8 years old! She has had plenty of antibiotics etc in the past. I attribute this to the reiki. She must really feel good. And doesn’t that song just play in your head, ” I feel good…Whoa-oa-oa! I feel good, I knew that I would, feel good, I knew that I would, now
So good, so good, by James Brown! ” Yeah, baby!!

She was outside today and again… Sammy Diva was so happy again!!! This is the same day that she woke up at 5am doing the same thing!  I said to Mark, quick, get the camera, who would believe an 8 year old yellow labrador retriever with canine hip dysplasia was this happy?! Yeah, reiki! The Vet said she had extensive damage to her hips. Does this look like a dog with pain? No! I think she has reverted back to puppy mode! All we can say is that we are happy that she is happy. It is great being a dog and having a great life! Nothing is better than this. No more bladder infection, no more pain in my hip. I haven’t had to give her anything for pain since I stopped to Rimadyl. The Vet said once the weather changes I can give her buffered aspirin, but obviously, she is NOT in any pain!

  1. Wow. It’s just amazing how all of a sudden your dogs just suprise you! I remember the first time I taught my dog Shanti to sit. All of a sudden she just did it by herself! It’s great that old sammy doing well. I remember the last time I was at your house she was just calm. By the way can you put some pictures of Shanti on here? It would be great for everyone to meet her beloved sister.
